Economic Security Center of Dubai

Inspired by the Economic Security Center mission, we created a bold identity that supports the values of the brand. We wanted to celebrate the falcon and the economic field. The symmetry created by the circular shape and the falcon lines is a representation of two parts that meet to create balance and complete a whole.

New York University Abu Dhabi Research Conference 2018

Research allows us to create connections and explore new possibilities. Like a puzzle, research combines scattered ideas and thoughts that forms new perspectives and possibilities when brought together.

The concept for NYUAD Research Conference 2018 is inspired by the values of the Year of Zayed — development, education, and awareness.

The logo created is a dynamic identity which explores the endless possibilities of research. We use the idea of multidimensionality to create the impression of reaching beyond cognitive boundaries. Lastly, the logo forms are inspired by the graphic icon of a speech bubble.

Fit Fresh

The graphic style for Fit Fresh was created with awareness at the core of its vision. In a market where people are constantly curious about the source and the process of which their foods/juices are made, we chose an illustrative style to document Fit Fresh’s process.

The illustration style used is a flat, modern, condensed, and geometric style that may be used as a pattern. This style reflects the highly detailed process Fit Fresh maintains to deliver the highest value to their customers.

Tola Perfumery

The concept for this Emirati niche perfumery’s identity was derived from the Tola coin; an old unit of measurement that is still used today to weigh oriental perfumes. While the Tola coin is essentially round, the logotype developed is systematic in approach, and geometric in appearance. This echoes the hidden geometry within Islamic calligraphy in a modern way. The typographic style is inspired by square Kufic calligraphy and hence, the Latin letterforms are based on the same grid, giving them a somewhat exotic feel. The illustration style used for Tola is reminiscent of Art Deco posters from the 1920s and 30s.
