Crafting Stories

Located in Al Hosn, a historic site in Abu Dhabi, House of Artisans is a permanent exhibition that showcases works of Emirati artisans and their artistic use of the country’s natural resources. Craftsmanship that have been passed on from generation to generation is celebrated throughout this space. Abjad Design created the visual language that would complement and enhance the brand’s identity provided by the client. The patterns are reminiscent of the ones often found in traditional crafts while the colors are inspired by the natural plant dyes local artisans use in their materials.
