Crescent Moon, Rising Sun

This bilingual brochure celebrates Nikken Sekkei’s 30 years of projects in the Middle East where it has demonstrated an unwavering enthusiasm for the future and raising the bar for a healthier and more sustainable living. The book brings together two cultures, two visions and two traditions. This is demonstrated in the design concept and layout of the book that uses both Arabic and Latin type equally. The graphics used throughout the book represent celestial elements floating in the white spaces of the spreads alongside the bodies of text and imagery. Here, the Crescent Moon is the Middle East and the Rising Sun is Japan. Two Easts aligned in harmony.
