Tropical Grandeur

Abjad was commissioned to create a brand pattern for Robinsons’ first Middle East department store to be adopted throughout its interiors and other brand applications. The result was an intricate pattern of majestic palm leaves blending the two Easts; that of Singapore and Dubai. Illustrative works and patterns were further created for Robinsons Middle East, consisting of Ramadan in-store giveaways adorned with a custom pattern of sparkling stars, welded hexagons and luminescent moons. For the department store’s Summer Sale campaign, we illustrated tangled serpentine flora against a custom-lettered Arabic type.
